How to Clean Epson Printer Print Head?

When you don’t use your printer for quite some time, you will notice that your printer is not printing the way it should be. Some Epson printer users say that they are facing print quality issue, while other says that they can’t print at all. This happens because when you don’t use your printer, the ink inside the print head gets dry and blocks the nozzle. The only solution for this issue is to clean the print head. There are two different methods to clean the print head, one through computer using Head Cleaning utility and second via printer control panel.

To clean print head using head cleaning utility of your Windows system, please follow the given steps:

• Turn on your printer and make sure ink out light is off.

• Now click the Utility tab and then click the head cleaning button.

• Follow the on-screen instructions.

To clean the print head using printer control panel, please do the following:

• Power light should be on and ink light should be off.

• Hold the ink button for 3 seconds. It will begin power light and ink light flashing.
